Dear Emma Jean,
I can't ask for anything more in life than to be able to see you and your brother grow each day. You are still the light of my life and you amaze me every day. I love you more than I knew possible and it's hard to put into words how the smile on your face makes me feel.
It is still very vivid to me how scared I was when I brought you home from the hospital. I wasn't sure I'd be able to handle being a mother. Although at times you test my limits, you have made it more joyful than I ever thought it could be.
You are so smart and funny. Just this morning you held your brother's hand and rubbed his head saying "you're fine you're fine" as he got changed for the day. You are the world's best big sister. You always make sure Matthew has a binky in his mouth and a smile on his face. You have also been making sure he doesn't grow up too soft as you give him an extra smack or take away his toys if he's getting too comfortable. Always looking out for him ;) haha
You are talking up a storm and sometimes too much. You love to repeat what we say and make up words that don't exist at the same time. You melt my heart when you say "I love you Momma" and daddy is just a lost cause when it comes to your cuteness. You are his little girl forever and he would move the world for you if he had to.
You test your limits with the best of them and although we are still trying to figure out exactly how to reel you in, I know we'll get there someday.
You LOVE to be the entertainment in the room and it seems as though nothing makes you happier than a laughing audience. It makes your momma proud. You've taken to your older cousins with undeniable obsession and whatever Savannah does must be copied by you.
It's so funny to see how things change as bathtime was a struggle a year ago, now it's a struggle to get you out of the tub. Having Matthew start to be able to be in there with you is a treat you love as well.
You could eat spaghetti and waffles for days and treats light up your face in a way that makes it way too easy to give you more.
You've given me the feeling of knowing of contributed at least one thing great into this world and I thank you for that.
I hope nothing but happiness and giggles for you and as I said before. It may be unattainable but I'm going to do my absolute best to get you as close to it as I can.
I love you with every particle of my being.
- Your Momma

Matthew's 6 Month Update
6 month update!
Age: 6 months old!
Weight & Height: 20 lbs. 5 oz. - 29.5 inches. Matthew is in the 95th percentile for weight and 99th for height. Looking at their pics side by side he definitely is more solid than Emma was but just as stinkin cute.
Things I enjoy: Snuggling! Sometimes I won't even sleep unless mommy or daddy hold me. I also love the new foods I'm trying. I've had bananas, carrots and pears so far. I think I'm gonna get peas soon and I did try a bit of sweet potato which i loved. I love bathtime as well :)
Skills I've mastered: I can hold toys all by myself and I can hold my head up at tummy time really well too.
Looking forward to: Rolling back to my back from the belly. It ain't easy...and mastering sitting up.
Tough Times: I am teething really bad these days. I also had my first ear infection and worried mommy and daddy when my temperature went up to 103.8. I am all better now and even though I didn't sleep well two night ago, I found my rhythm again last night.
Exciting Events: I got my FIRST TOOTH! I also got baptized last weekend. FINALLY! Uncle Tom and Jen are my god parents. I think my mom and dad made a good choice with that.
Looking forward to: Easter. Mommy said the Easter Bunny might leave me and Emma something if we are good. I'm also excited for warmer weather. I keep hearing about playing outside but I never get to do it.
Emma's 6 Month Update!
Age: 6 months old!
Weight & Height: 16 lbs. 6 oz. - 26 inches. I know that is the same height as last time, but since she was in the 93rd percentile last time and closer to average this time, we chalked it up to an error last time. They measured her twice this time too. Those babies can get squirmy on the table.
Things I enjoy: Eating!! Mommy can't keep up with all the different foods I eat and how much of them I eat. I love everything they give me. Particularly sweet potatoes now. They are my new favorite. Mommy has been making my food my whole life, but she recently decided to give herself a break and I tried Sprout Organic food. it's the "JUST" line of foods. Like Just Peas or Just Mangos. I've only done the Just sweet potatoes, but can't wait to try the Just Peas with Mint.
Skills I've mastered: I can roll over onto my belly and I'm just about sitting up all by myself.
Looking forward to: Rolling back to my back from the belly. It ain't easy...and mastering sitting up.
Tough Times: Normally mommy writes "not too many", but not this time. I've been giving them a tough time at bedtime the past few nights. I have a cough and I'm probably teething. I'm not sure if I want to eat more before I go to bed, or I just want to stay up and play a little while longer. Mommy and Daddy pretty much do whatever I want, so I don't give them too hard of a time and I'm normally asleep around 830pm these days.
Exciting Events: I have two teeth and I just started babbling consonants!!!!!!! I say BAA BAA BAA BAA all day long and mommy and daddy LOVEEEEEEE IT! :) I also went to my first PITT game. Even though they lost, I loved it.
Looking forward to: A visit from Aunt Amanda this Saturday and you guys are gonna die when you see how cute I look in my costume.

Life is Beautiful
Just as pretty at night ;) Still obsessed with the new house!
So life life life, still crazy crazy crazy, but definitely in the best of ways.
Impromptu photo shoot with the little ones! So many things I love about these pics including Emma's belly sticking out!
She seems to be falling in love with her brother more and more each day.

We also had our first babysitting gig with all the cousins. Emma slept for several hours while they were here, but we still had tons of fun and lots of playtime together.
They got to eat at their little table and Matthew tried to join in the fun a little too. We played monsters and watched Sleeping Beauty. We played with dollies and purses and changed tons of diapers together. Watching those three little girls run around makes my heart melt every time.
I feel like I haven't done an update on Matthew's progress in forever.
Age: 23 Weeks
Weight & Height: No updates since last appointment, but he's going to his 6 month appt on the 26th!
Things I enjoy: Being held, bathtime, babbling to mommy and daddy and anyone else who wants to talk to me.
Skills I've mastered: I can hold my head up really well during tummy time, I love bouncing in the exersaucer or rolling around in my walker.
Looking forward to: Sitting up on my own and eating more solids.
Tough Times: Nighttime is still really rough for mommy and daddy and me. I normally wake up about 3 times every night. I wake up around 11, aorund 1 or 2 and around 3 or 4 before I wake up around 530 for the day. Mommy and Daddy are trying everything to make me feel as comfortable as possible. I'll get there, it'll just take some more time.
Exciting Events: I am starting to eat oatmeal. Mommy is going to make me carrots very soon also because I know Emma loved it when she was a baby too. I also went to Red Lobster with Grammy and Poppy and Aunt Brook and Uncle Scott and all my cousins. I was such a good boy, I loved being around everybody.
Looking forward to: Well mommy and daddy are finally getting it together and getting my baptized this weekend. I can't wait to get rid of this original sin!! I am looking forward to seeing grandma and grandpa and almost all my aunts and uncles :)
So Matthew still isn't sleeping like a champ. I think he's getting better every week though and he'll be there in no time. I still find it fascinating how different my two babies have been growing up in this short span of life they have had. Emma was already eating solids for weeks by now, but she was still breastfeeding too (TEAR! CRY! SNIFF!) I feel so guilty seeing that she was still breastfeeding, but there is nothing I can do, the milk is all dried up. I think solids are coming fast and furious for this little boy. I am going to be making his food in the beginning just like Emma, but probably use more pre-mades earlier because let's be honest, it's hard with two under 2!
This reminds me, my princess will be 2 NEXT MONTH!!! WTF! My baby, my heart, my little girl is turning 2!!! Her theme last year was rainbows and this year it will be animals. She loves making animal noises and it will be easier to do decorations for a broad theme. I'm not one to make kids birthday parties a big deal, but we did decide to invite all our cousins who have kids around the same age so Emma would have lots of people to play with. Should be filled with lots of laughs and cries (me being one of them)!
The house is still a mess, but I'll blame part of it on our washer that came broken and is finally being replaced today! Oh yeah, right after it gets replaced I'll be right on top of everything.....DEFINITELY... (wink wink)
DH and I have started drinking green juice on a regular basis and I have to admit, it is so much easier to make it knowing that he actually likes it too! My current recipe is:
Handful of Spinach (about 2 cups)
half a Cucumber
Small Apple
Small Pear
2 Celery Stalks
Some fresh grated Ginger
1 lemon
Water/Crushed Ice
Blend it up and it's delish.
Today I threw some pineapple juice in there as well to mix it up.
We are going to join the gym tomorrow and start of slow..........real slow. Hopefully we'll be able to make it at least 2 times a week, which is better than nothing, so no judgements! Fridays I'm going to hopefully be able to go with the sister as well. A perk to working from home with your spouse. I think going to the gym together will be nice and even though we won't talk while we are there I still think the drives there and back will be little escapes and working out always makes you feel good too!
I am excited to get into some kind of routine once everything calms down. It may take a year and but I look forward to it none the less.
Working from home is going great and we've had lots of visitors. My brother and sister-in-law are visiting for dinner on Tuesday which wouldn't have even been possible when we lived in Baltimore, but now it's just a 25 minute drive :)
2015 may have started out the worst year of my life, but it's also helped me to put my life in perspective and get my priorities in a better order. Nothing beats family and you only live once, so you better enjoy it as much as you can!!!

Busy Busy
My first post on my blog was sharing my new home.
Well more than three years and more than 200 posts later I have a new new home :)
The Moher family is officially Pennsylvania Residents once again!!!! The new house is beautiful and big and has everything we could ever want and MORE!
Matthew and Emma are settled in their new rooms and the cousins have already been over and running circles through the halls. Nothing makes my heart happier than seeing them playing together.
Matthew is blooming into a little rugrat monster love bug :) He is so happy and so smiley!!! We are still not quite to foods yet, but we are getting there. He's as solid as a rock and I don't think he could go 2 minutes without smiling. He babbles non stop and we are working on sitting up and rolling over :)
Emma is talking up a storm as well, but we can actually "understand" what she is saying. She is the light in my life. We look around the corner and we can see her playing with her little peppa pig toys and taking care of her babies and having a tea party. She's starting to use her imagination and i beam with excitement when i catch a glimpse into her little world.
My beautiful new house is an absolute disaster. Toys everywhere, clothes everywhere, boxes everywhere. Sometimes it's overwhelming and I decide to just sit and play with my kids instead. We'll get it together but we're gonna have as much fun as we can in the process!
